Abstract
This case report presents a long-term observation case after bone grafting and implant restoration in the anterior maxilla in an 18-year-old male patient. The patient underwent bone grafting and implant restoration in the maxillary central incisor region and was followed up for 8 years. In the follow-up observation period 2 years after the restoration of the implant prosthesis, an occlusal discrepancy was observed, and it was decided that the prosthesis needed to be remade. An important point to consider in single implant treatment is that the previously presented physiological age of maturity is not an absolute guideline for implant placement. Since the continuous eruption of adjacent teeth can cause esthetic issues even after the growth phase, implants should be carefully considered for maxillary incisors not only in the growth phase, but also in adults.
